Vehicles
Our fleet of over 80 moving vans is fully equipped with furniture pads, dollies, ramps and other necessary equipment to accomplish your move.
Our straight trucks are all standardized 24 foot bodies with 5,000 pound hydraulic lift-gates. We also have air-ride and climate controlled vans, which can be used to transport computers, sensitive equipment, artwork, antiques and delicate furniture.
Our vehicle maintenance facility is staffed 24 hours a day and includes a tow truck and snow plows should their use be required. All vehicles are owned and operated by Casey & Hayes or subsidiaries thereof.

Equipment
After taking inventory of your office furniture, machines and calculate the number of cartons you will need, we determine the type and quantity of equipment that will be necessary to perform your move. A brief description of our equipment is as follows:
Dollies
Used to transport furniture and equipment. Our dollies are different than those of other movers. They are rubber wheeled and are covered by carpet along the long side to provide added protection to the object being moved.
Poly Foam
2" x 3" poly foam inserts are used with our glass, panel and equipment to move more sensitive equipment without crating them. This is done by lining the carts with the poly foam and shrink wrapping the equipment to it. This insures a soft, dry and safe move.
Panel Carts
Used to transport panels, large bench top equipment, counter tops and conference tables.
CRT Equipment Cart
Shelved carts that are used to transport smaller bench top equipment, computers, printers, microscopes and miscellaneous machinery.

Library Carts
Shelved carts used to transport books. Each cart has 5 shelves per side. For safety reasons we discourage the use of library carts when moving files.
Rental Crates
Plastic totes with covers, used rather than using cardboard pop cartons. Plastic crates are cost effective and environmentally safe. Also rental crates hold more content and protect better.

All equipment used during your move is free!

Large Book Boxes
A viable alternative to library carts. We are the only mover in the area to use such a box. We have custom built a supply of large wooden boxes, which are designed to hold the contents of one standard shelf of books. Unlike library carts, book boxes are narrow enough to be wheeled down most any aisle. They can be turned on edge and used as a book shelf in the event that proper shelving is not ready. Packing is more efficient because the one shelf per box design allows us to unpack a library at the same time.
Hood Lifts
Battery powered portable lifts with a 1,000 lb.. capacity to lift hoods.
Tools
Various screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, ratchet sets etc. that are used to reassemble desks, returns, bays of shelving and furniture.
Airplane Boxes
Small wooden boxes that are completely carpeted and used to balance executive desks on dollies.
Safe Jacks
Used to lift and transport safes.
Pallet Jacks
Used to lift and transport loaded pallets.
Magnesium Ramp
Used to wheel dollies in and out of moving vans and on and off loading docks and side walks.
Furniture Pads
Thick blanket-like covers that are placed on furniture and computers to protect them from scratches, nicks and dents. Virtually all furniture and equipment is covered with a furniture pad and then strapped in before it is transported by truck or van.
Electronic Air Straps
Used to lift and carry furniture and equipment on stairwells when elevators are nonexistent or available.
